JPL

Over the years, we’ve had the honor of collaborating with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) on a series of meaningful design projects that help communicate the extraordinary work being done in space exploration. From conceptual missions to historic milestones, each design has been a chance to contribute to the story of space science in a small but powerful way. Here's a look at some of the highlights.

Nature Journal Cover – SWOT Mission

One of our proudest moments was designing the cover of Nature to celebrate the launch of the SWOT (Surface Water and Ocean Topography) mission. This Earth science satellite is revolutionizing how we measure ocean currents and freshwater lakes and rivers. The cover visual needed to feel scientific, elegant, and evocative of the fluid dynamics that the mission observes.

Explore Mars Together Poster Series

For the Explore Mars Together campaign, JPL tasked us with creating posters to engage the public with the future of Martian exploration. The designs celebrated the collaborative spirit behind every Mars mission—across disciplines, agencies, and generations. Each poster was meant to serve as an open invitation: to think, imagine, and explore.

MAVEN 10-Year Anniversary Poster

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the MAVEN (Mars Atmosphere and Volatile EvolutioN) mission, we created a commemorative poster that honors its decade-long journey studying the upper atmosphere of Mars. The goal was to capture both the elegance of orbital science and the mission’s pivotal role in understanding how Mars lost its atmosphere over time. The design reflects the beauty of data and the endurance of a spacecraft still contributing to our knowledge of the Red Planet.

Working with JPL has been more than just a creative opportunity—it’s been a way to help bridge the gap between complex science and public imagination. Each design is a small tribute to the brilliant minds behind these missions, and a reminder that space exploration is for everyone.
