What is Sentinel-6B?

Sentinel-6B is part of a decades-long effort to accurately measure global sea-level rise from orbit—a collaboration between NASA, ESA (European Space Agency), NOAA, and EUMETSAT. The spacecraft continues a vital climate-monitoring record, using radar altimetry to track Earth’s oceans with remarkable precision.

The Mission ID

For Sentinel-6B, a minimal, modernist Mission ID celebrates the mission's purpose and engineering spirit.

Key Art for JPL & the Mission Team

Beyond the Mission ID, we created key art used across the mission’s internal and external communications:

Applications included:

  • Posters and artwork displayed throughout JPL’s campus
  • Visual assets for team presentations
  • Digital graphics for mission updates and outreach
  • Elements used by partner agencies in Europe and the U.S.

Honored to Contribute to the Future of Earth Science

Sentinel-6B is more than a spacecraft—it’s a continuation of humanity’s effort to understand our changing planet with clarity, accuracy, and cooperation.

We’re proud to have played a small part in a mission that will benefit science for decades to come.
